What characteristics do WES Panels share?
Our panels are suitable for enclosures, floor slabs, and interior partitions, and are especially interesting for projects that aim to meet the standards of passive houses and high energy efficiency.
Custom-made panels
Shorter assembly time
Lower costs
Good thermal and acoustic insulation
Enhanced comfort in the project
Types of panels
There are several types of panels. They are used as elements for exterior and interior walls, floor slabs, and roofs. The versatility of our system makes it ideal for:
Construction of single-family homes
Residential projects with one or more floors
Offices
Modular constructions
Public-use buildings
Vertical Structural Panels
The WESPANEL vertical structural panels are made of 15mm OSB 3 boards, between which structural profiles of pine or fir are arranged at various spacings, along with insulation made of expanded polystyrene (graphite) or rock wool.
These panels act as load-bearing walls and are fixed to the other structural components (base slabs, inter-floor slabs, and roof slabs) using specific dry-fixation systems as required.
Exterior Partition Panels
The enclosure panels consist of an exterior insulation layer available in various thicknesses to receive the desired finish. We can opt for the ETICS (External Thermal Insulation Composite System) or ventilated facade systems. On the interior, the finish will be Fermacell (wood-fiber board) directly on the OSB board, or any type of cladding or cavity for installations.
Interior Partition Panels
The interior partition panels are designed to receive any type of finish: Fermacell board, tiling directly on the OSB board.
There is also the option to create a technical cavity for the passage of installations.
Horizontal Structural Panels and Interfloors
The WESPANEL base horizontal structural panels consist of a 15mm OSB 3 board placed between structural beams of pine or fir—with various spacings according to load requirements—accompanied by expanded polystyrene insulation and a 13mm Fermacell board. The assembly is glued and nailed.
These panels act as floor slabs and are fixed to the other structural components (vertical enclosures and interior partitions) using specific fixation systems, depending on the case.
Floor Slabs for Flat Roofs
The flat roof panels act as floor slabs; their interior is finished with Fermacell boards (fiber-cement). The exterior face is covered with expanded polystyrene thermal insulation, while the slope formation and waterproofing are achieved using an EPDM membrane. Depending on whether the surface is accessible, the EPDM is protected with gravel or another material (wood, tiles, etc.).
Floor Slabs for Pitched Roofs
The pitched roof panels act as floor slabs; their interior is finished with Fermacell boards (fiber-cement).
On the exterior face, wooden battens are used to secure the external finish (tiles or another system).
Horizontal Panels for Base
Structural Panels for Base or Sanitary Floors
The WES structural panels for “sanitary floors” or base are made of an OSB 3 board anchored to a metal structure calculated according to the building’s load and usage requirements. Between the metal beams, expanded polystyrene insulation is placed.
This configuration provides great stability and strength to the panels.
